内容紹介

大学における知的生産活動の場で安全を図るためには、一般的な安全対策の実施だけでは十分ではない。それぞれの知的生産活動に応じた創造的な安全対策と日頃からの情報収集が必要である。
また、大学においてそのような安全対策を推進するためには、研究室の主宰者自身が安全について高い意識を持ち、強いイニシアティブをとることが極めて重要である。

本書は、大学教員、大学教員を目指す大学院生及び研究機関で研究をリードする立場の方々が、どのような意識をもって、どのような事柄に気を付け、どのように安全を推進すべきなのかについてまとめた書籍である。

大学等環境安全協議会にて発足したプロジェクト「大学教職員のための職長教育テキスト」にて積み重ねた議論の内容を基礎としており、本書一冊で、安全の基礎となる考え方を押さえることができる。

日本語と英語訳を見開きで同時に読める構成で、国際化が進んだ研究環境にも配慮。
